Johnny (Carson Boatman) has promised to be by his wife’s side no matter what happens. But first, he has to talk to his dad about what’s going to happen to the family company now that Tony (Thaao Penghlis) has changed his plans yet again. You know EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is going to want to put his son on the business throne.
Jennifer’s Truce With Cat Comes With Major Boundaries
On Monday, Jack (Matthew Ashford) talked to Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) about forgiving and accepting Gwen (Emily O’Brien) into the family.

On Tuesday, Jennifer faces yet another enemy when she offers Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) a truce over the whole impersonating Abigail thing. But she still doesn’t want Cat anywhere near Thomas and Charlotte… or Chad (Conner Floyd).
Sarah and Xander Face the Truth About Their Marriage
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are living under the same roof now. Which is good for Victoria. But it also gives Sarah even more opportunities to remind Xander of how awful he is and why he needs to change. Of course, Xander has some constructive feedback for her, as well.
And while they have the same old argument, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is getting to know his baby daughter. He and Kelsey spend some alone time, but then Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) shows up to take her baby home. But, sure, she’s got some time to spend with Alex. Like a real family.
In Tuesday’s explosive episode of Days of Our Lives, emotions run high across Salem as several families are pushed to the edge by devastating truths, dangerous ambitions, and unexpected emotional connections. While Chanel struggles to face a terrifying medical reality, other residents are forced to confront secrets and shifting loyalties that could permanently change their futures.
After days of anxiety and fear, Chanel finally receives the results of her biopsy, and the news leaves her emotionally shaken. Though she tried to stay optimistic for the sake of her unborn baby, nothing could truly prepare her for hearing the doctor explain the seriousness of her condition. The possibility that she could be battling cancer while pregnant becomes overwhelming, and Chanel begins questioning how much more her body and heart can endure.
Johnny refuses to let Chanel go through the ordeal alone. Despite the growing pressure from his family and the chaos at DiMera Enterprises, he makes it clear that Chanel and their child are his top priority. However, the situation becomes more complicated when EJ pulls Johnny into another heated discussion about the future of the company. EJ insists that Tony’s latest decisions are reckless and believes the family business needs younger leadership before everything collapses into chaos.
As always, EJ sees Johnny as the perfect successor and wastes no time trying to manipulate him into taking a more powerful role within the company. Johnny finds himself trapped between two worlds — supporting Chanel through what may become the biggest fight of her life, while also being tempted by the power and influence EJ continues placing in front of him. Though Johnny wants to believe he can balance both responsibilities, the pressure is already starting to crack him emotionally.
Elsewhere, Jennifer attempts to move forward after months of anger and resentment surrounding Cat’s shocking deception. Pretending to be Abigail caused unimaginable pain for the Horton family, and Jennifer still struggles to forgive the emotional damage that followed. Even so, she realizes holding onto hatred forever may only deepen the wounds for everyone involved.
Their tense meeting quickly becomes uncomfortable as Jennifer cautiously offers Cat a fragile truce. She admits that continuing the war between them serves no purpose anymore, especially now that the truth has come out. But Jennifer also makes her boundaries crystal clear. While she is willing to stop the constant fighting, she refuses to trust Cat completely — especially when it comes to Chad and the children.
Jennifer warns Cat that Thomas and Charlotte have already suffered enough confusion and heartbreak. The last thing they need is another complicated emotional attachment entering their lives. Though Cat appears genuinely remorseful for the pain she caused, Jennifer cannot shake the fear that history could repeat itself if she lets her guard down too much.
Cat, meanwhile, seems deeply affected by Jennifer’s words. For the first time, she begins realizing that forgiveness may never truly come, no matter how much she regrets her actions. The emotional weight of being permanently viewed as the woman who impersonated Abigail becomes harder for her to bear, and she quietly wonders whether Salem will ever allow her a second chance.
At the same time, Chad remains caught in the middle of the emotional fallout. While part of him understands Jennifer’s protectiveness, another part recognizes that Cat’s feelings may have become more genuine than anyone expected. Chad’s growing internal conflict threatens to create even more tension inside the already fractured Horton family.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Xander continue navigating the painful reality of living together after everything that happened between them. Though they are attempting to maintain stability for Victoria’s sake, the emotional wounds between them remain far from healed. Every conversation seems to spiral into another argument about trust, betrayal, and accountability.
Sarah cannot stop reminding Xander of the terrible choices he made and how deeply he damaged their marriage. She believes Xander still refuses to fully understand the pain he caused, while Xander feels Sarah constantly punishes him without acknowledging her own mistakes. Their shared home slowly transforms into an emotional battlefield where neither side is willing to surrender.
Yet beneath all the anger, there are moments where their old connection briefly resurfaces. A simple glance or emotional silence hints that feelings still exist between them, even if neither wants to admit it aloud. Unfortunately, every vulnerable moment quickly collapses back into bitterness before real healing can begin.
Victoria’s presence only complicates matters further. Both Sarah and Xander desperately want to provide their daughter with a loving family environment, but their unresolved resentment threatens to poison the atmosphere around them. Friends and family members begin quietly questioning how long the arrangement can realistically continue before everything finally explodes.
Elsewhere in Salem, Alex experiences an emotional turning point as he spends time bonding with his baby daughter. For a brief moment, the usually confident and carefree Alex lets his guard down completely while holding the little girl in his arms. The experience awakens emotions he did not expect, forcing him to reconsider what kind of man and father he truly wants to become.
The peaceful moment takes another emotional turn when Joy arrives to pick up the baby. Although their relationship has been complicated from the start, Alex and Joy find themselves unexpectedly comfortable together while caring for their daughter. The shared responsibility creates a sense of intimacy neither anticipated.
As they spend time together, old chemistry quietly resurfaces between them. Their conversations become softer, more personal, and filled with unspoken tension. Joy notices a different side of Alex — one that seems more mature, protective, and emotionally grounded than before. Alex, meanwhile, begins imagining what life might look like if they truly attempted to build a future together.
However, complications remain unavoidable. Joy still carries doubts about whether Alex can genuinely commit to family life, while Alex fears making promises he may not be ready to keep. Despite the uncertainty, their growing connection becomes impossible to ignore.
Back at the DiMera mansion, EJ’s determination to secure his family legacy intensifies. Tony’s recent choices have created deep divisions within the company, and EJ believes the only solution is to place someone loyal firmly in control. Though Johnny initially resists being dragged deeper into the family drama, EJ’s manipulation slowly begins working.
EJ paints a future where Johnny could become one of the most powerful men in Salem, protecting both his family and the DiMera empire. But the timing could not be worse. Chanel’s medical crisis already threatens to overwhelm Johnny emotionally, and taking on corporate warfare may push him beyond his limits entirely.
As the episode closes, Salem’s residents are left standing at emotional crossroads. Chanel fears her entire future could change overnight. Johnny struggles between ambition and responsibility. Jennifer attempts to protect her family while wrestling with forgiveness. Sarah and Xander continue fighting battles neither seems capable of winning. And Alex begins questioning whether love and fatherhood may finally be changing him for the better.
With secrets, heartbreak, and emotional decisions colliding from every direction, the next chapter of Days of Our Lives promises even more shocking consequences that could permanently reshape the lives of everyone involved.
