HOTTES NEWS TODAY!!! EastEnders reveals Whitney Dean’s surprise new romance in early iPlayer release

EastEnders‘ Zack Hudson continues spiralling after Whitney Dean’s surprise return in last night’s episode. In scenes airing tonight on BBC One, Whitney reveals more about the new person she’s dating, prompting Zack to make a terrible decision.

In yesterday’s episode, Zack asked Kat and Alfie Moon for some time off to head to Knight Fusion, where he reunited with ex-fiancée Whitney. When he suggested she could move back to the Square so they could be a “ready-made family”, she got honest and informed him she’d been seeing someone new.

In tonight’s scenes, Whitney opens up about her new romance with Ruben, saying that she’d love for Zack to meet him so that he could know the man being a stepdad to Dolly.

Despite insisting he’s happy for his ex, Zack storms out of the restaurant.

As for a beaming Whitney, she opens up about her new man with Kat, who’s thrilled to see her finally getting the stable life she’s always dreamt of. She urges Whitney not to “cock it up” as the two women chat away at the Queen Vic.

Later on, Zack’s son Barney gives him some home truths about his treatment of women, suggesting he should try therapy to address his serial cheating and involvement with women who are in relationships.

On the latter point, Zack tries one last, desperate attempt to keep Vicki Fowler close after their affair ended. He insists she take the bracelet he wanted to gift her at Christmas, but Vicki laughs him off, reminding him she’s marrying Ross tomorrow.

Unable to take no for an answer, Zack, who’s Ross’s best man, resorts to lying to his friends about Vicki. In the final scenes, Zack and Ross have a chat about the impending nuptials, with Zack suggesting that a red pair of underwear they find in the living room could be Vicki’s.

When Ross says he’s never seen them before, Zack instils doubt in his friend’s mind, hinting at Vicki cheating on him again.

“If there’s no trust there, how can you marry her tomorrow, mate?” Zack sneakily asks a distraught Ross. Is the wedding going ahead?

After Whitney Dean unexpectedly returns to Walford and reveals she’s started a new relationship with Ruben, Zack Hudson completely loses control of his emotions. Despite trying to appear calm in front of Whitney, deep down Zack can’t accept that the woman he once believed to be his destiny is now preparing to build a life with another man. Jealousy, regret, and a sense of failure begin to drive Zack further than ever.

In the subsequent episodes of *EastEnders*, Zack continues to destroy everything around him with a series of impulsive decisions. After planting suspicions in Ross’s mind that Vicki might betray him, Zack begins to feel guilty but lacks the courage to confess the truth. Instead, he sinks deeper into new lies to conceal his true motives.

At Queen Vic, the atmosphere surrounding Ross and Vicki’s wedding becomes increasingly tense. Ross begins to act coldly towards his fiancée after a conversation with Zack. Vicki quickly realized something was wrong and repeatedly questioned Ross about his unusual behavior. However, Ross avoided all questions, deeply hurting Vicki.

Meanwhile, Sharon Watts began to suspect Zack was hiding something. After accidentally overhearing part of a conversation between Zack and Barney, Sharon realized Zack still had strong feelings for Whitney and might be destroying someone else’s happiness because he couldn’t face the truth. Sharon tried to persuade Zack to stop before it was too late, but he brushed her off.

At the same time, Whitney was completely unaware of what was happening behind her back. She continued to enjoy her rare peaceful time with Kat and Alfie, and talked more about Ruben. Whitney admitted that Ruben made her feel safe in a way Zack never could. He was stable, mature, and always put Dolly first. These words unintentionally caused Zack even more pain as he overheard them from afar.

Things started to explode the night before the wedding. Ross, after hours of thinking about Zack’s warning, finally checked Vicki’s phone while she was asleep. Although he found no evidence of infidelity, Ross discovered old messages between Vicki and Zack from their time together. This fueled his intense jealousy.

A heated confrontation ensued at their apartment. Vicki was angry that Ross didn’t trust her, while Ross accused her of still having feelings for Zack. The argument was so loud that Sonia and Martin had to intervene. In the ensuing chaos, Ross unexpectedly revealed that Zack had planted his suspicions with the story about the red underwear.

News spread throughout Albert Square within hours. Vicki was stunned to learn that Zack had deliberately sabotaged their relationship. She immediately confronted Zack. In the parking lot behind the cafe, Vicki unleashed her anger on Zack, calling him selfish and incapable of accepting other people’s happiness.

Zack tried to explain that he only wanted to protect Ross from being hurt again, but Vicki didn’t believe him. She insisted it all stemmed from Zack’s inability to let go of Whitney and his constant sabotage of everything good around him. Those words struck Zack’s weak point, causing him to completely break down.

Meanwhile, Barney continued to act as Zack’s only voice of reason. After learning about what he had done to Ross and Vicki, Barney was deeply disappointed. He bluntly stated that Zack was becoming the kind of person he once hated most—a manipulator of others’ emotions just to feel less lonely.

Barney even warned that if Zack didn’t change, he would lose everyone who cared about him. This warning caused Zack to waver. For the first time, he seriously considered going to therapy, as Barney had suggested.

However, things didn’t end there. On the morning of the wedding, Ross suddenly disappeared from Walford, causing chaos in the square. Vicki panicked because she couldn’t contact him. Sharon and Kat quickly suspected Ross had run away after what Zack had done.

Whitney then began to realize the seriousness of the situation. When she learned that Zack was involved in Ross’s suspicion of Vicki, she was deeply disappointed. Whitney confronted Zack and told him that he hadn’t changed at all since their breakup. According to Whitney, Zack always acted on emotion without considering the consequences for others.

Their conversation became extremely emotional. Zack finally confessed that he had never truly gotten over Whitney. He admitted that seeing her happy with someone else made him feel like he had lost his last chance to have a real family.

Whitney broke down in tears but remained firm. She said she had loved Zack very much, but love alone wasn’t enough to build a stable life. Whitney recalled Zack’s past betrayals and asserted that Ruben offered her the peace Zack could never provide.
