Authorities in British Columbia say the disappearance of actor Stewart McLean, known for a recent appearance on Netflix’s Virgin River, is now being investigated as a homicide case after new evidence emerged. McLean was reported missing after he was last seen on May 15 at his home in Lions Bay.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team officially took over the investigation this week, working alongside Squamish RCMP and forensic services. Investigators are asking the public for information as concern continues to grow around the actor’s sudden disappearance.
